Injection moulding is a manufacturing process for producing parts by injecting material into a mould. Injection moulding can be performed with a host of materials, commonly thermoplastic & thermosetting polymers. Material for the part is fed into a heated barrel, mixed & forced into a mould cavity, where it cools & hardens to the configuration of the cavity.

Once component is designed, then mold is made on precised machines to achieve the features of the desired part. This takes place when a thermoplastic or thermostat plastic material is fed into a heated barrel, mixed & forced into the metal mold cavity where it cools & hardens before being removed.
